Terms of Service
These terms explain what Cargo141 provides, what happens after you order and pay, who is responsible for labels and customs paperwork, and how we handle problems such as a lost or damaged parcel. By placing an order on this site, or through one of our team, you agree to them.

1. Who we are
Cargo141 is our trading name. We provide small-parcel delivery from Hong Kong. Every order you place on this site is a contract for services with the Cargo141 operating entity below:
Operating entity: [to be filled in] | Registered address: [to be filled in] | Business registration (BR): [optional]
2. What we provide
Our service is this: we collect your parcel in Hong Kong and move it to the overseas address you give us through our delivery network. It is a small-parcel service — the weight, size and destination limits are shown when you get a quote or place an order, and we may refuse a parcel that exceeds them. This is a transport service, not cargo insurance, and it does not include warehousing or any additional service in the destination country unless we say so in writing at the time of your order.
3. Pricing: the amount at checkout is final
The amount you confirm at checkout is the final shipping price — we do not add charges afterwards. If the parcel’s actual weight or size differs materially from what you declared, we will come back to you and confirm before anything is done; we will not silently take more money or add a fee.
4. Payment and pickup
We arrange pickup after we receive payment. Once you order, we contact you to fix a pickup slot for the window you chose. Please make sure the parcel is closed, the recipient details are clear, and someone is there to hand it over. If nobody is there at the agreed time, we will arrange another slot and the delivery date moves accordingly.
5. The label is ours to issue, yours to print
After payment we prepare the shipping label for your parcel and you download it from the site. You print it yourself (ordinary A4 paper is fine) and attach it to the largest face of the parcel — no old labels, and nothing covering the barcode. If it prints badly, contains an error or goes missing, tell us and we will reissue it; shipping with the wrong label can delay the parcel or get it returned.
6. Duties, taxes and destination charges
The shipping price covers transport only. It does not cover customs duties, import taxes, VAT or clearance fees charged in the destination country, unless we state otherwise in writing at the time of your order. Those are normally payable by the recipient on delivery. If the recipient refuses to pay, the parcel may be held by customs, returned or destroyed, and the resulting costs are the sender’s — your — responsibility.
7. Prohibited and restricted goods are your responsibility
You must make sure the contents are legal and may be sent to the destination. Common prohibited or restricted items include firearms and ammunition, explosives, flammable or pressurised goods, undeclared lithium batteries, other dangerous goods, medicines, cash and precious metals, live animals and plants, food and perishables, counterfeit or infringing goods, and anything a destination country bans from import. Your declaration must be true — no concealment, no smuggling items in, no understating value. If we or our delivery network find a prohibited item we may refuse the shipment, stop it in transit or handle it as the law requires; the shipping fee is not refunded and any fine, hold or return cost is yours.
8. Claims: lost or damaged parcels
Tell us within 14 days of receiving the parcel — and for a loss, as soon as you notice the tracking has not moved for a long time. A claim needs evidence: photos of the damage (the item itself, the outer packaging and the shipping label), a record of the unboxing, and your order number. We assess each claim case by case — the declared value of the contents, the nature of the goods, and the terms of the service you chose — and we take it up with our delivery network. Compensation is not an automatic fixed sum; it is assessed on the individual case.
9. Delays and the limits of our liability
International transport is affected by many things outside our control: weather, flight changes, customs inspection, strikes, public holidays, public events in the destination country and so on. We are not liable for delays caused by any of those, and we do not pay compensation for them. We will chase the shipment and keep you updated, but we cannot guarantee a specific arrival date or time.
10. When we may refuse or cancel an order
If we cannot carry your parcel — for example it contains prohibited goods, exceeds a size or weight limit, the destination is not served, or there is a problem with payment — we will cancel the order and return the shipping fee you paid to the original payment method. Apart from those cases, once payment is made the service has started.
11. Changes to these terms and governing law
We may update these terms. The updated version is published on this page with a new “last updated” date, and continuing to use our service after that means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
